What is aerial? – Aerial is not a well-known activity for many people, and some think it’s dangerous. Yes, there are risks, but most are preventable like in other sports. Maki will attend the party/event to provide direct supervision for children’s safety and offer instructions on aerials. For the event, she will only teach easy tricks that everyone can definitely try. Even if some children find it difficult, she will assist them, ensuring that everyone achieves their goals! It’s a fun way to move their bodies and enjoy being upside down and spinning!
Is the equipment included in the fee? – Yes. No extra fees will occur. Setting up will be done before the booking time starts, and packing up will begin after the actual booking time has finished.
What do you care about safety? – We always put gym mats all over the area and, in addition, place a crash mat underneath the apparatus. In case the crash mat misses catching the child, there is still another mat for protection. We provide a safety lecture before starting the activity and ensure direct supervision at all times. If the aerial apparatus is not in use during other activities, we take it off the carabiner to avoid creating a situation of unsupervised play.
What apparatuses are available, and how many can I request within the booking? – The available apparatuses are Aerial Hoop (Lyra hoop), Aerial Moon Lyra, Aerial Hammock, Silk, Trapeze, and Rings. You can request multiple apparatuses, but we only provide one frame for one instructor. If you would like to try a second apparatus, we can easily change the apparatus by unhooking it from the carabiner and hooking the new one, allowing you to keep going.
Is Aerial playtime for indoor or outdoor? – It can be set up and played both indoors and outdoors, but not in the rain or strong sunshine. The frame is adjustable, and most standard houses can accommodate it. The required room size is approximately H220 x W200 x L250. For outdoor use, it is preferable to set up in a shaded area for sun safety. Setting up on concrete or timber floors is acceptable. The legs of the frame are covered with silicone pads on the bottom to prevent scratching your beautiful floors. Setting up on the lawn is fine too but avoid muddy areas.
Can you set up under the real tree in my garden? – No, sorry. Under our insurance, it is not allowed to do anything other than using a certified frame.
Can I book aerial and non-aerial together? – Yes. For example, 1 hour of Aerial and 1 hour of Face Painting can be arranged together. The total fee for this plan will be $250~ during the special promotion period.
Do you have minimum hours for booking? – Yes. If the booking includes Aerial, the minimum duration is 2 hours. For non-aerial bookings, it starts from 1.5 hours.
